2011 Chamber President Janayhe Self

Aloha,

As the new year is launched for the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce, I humbly thank you for the opportunity to serve as your 2011 President. I trust that the experience I bring in public relations, advertising, and real estate will be beneficial in helping us achieve our goals.  Developing our awareness and refining our foundation will remain an important focus.  We have come a long way from the initial cooperative goal of bringing fireworks to the community at Maunalua Bay.  We ended this past year with a bang at our annual fundraising Gala,  held at the Kathy Ireland Oasis Estate, to honor the Toys for Tots drive.  Now, let’s all move forward.

Our vision this year is to continue focusing on the importance of educating and promoting a more cohesive business community. From businesses small and large, we represent all of Hawaii Kai. Let us pride ourselves in this gemstone community by the sea that we are so privileged to call home.

Through our growing membership and benefits we offer entrepreneurial resources and outlets to “get the word out” about your services.  You can build your brand and voice presence through our awesome networking events, educational seminars and community awareness drives.  Let’s all become a part of the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce Ohana.
