Networking Luncheon and Educational Seminar

The Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce hosted its first Networking Luncheon and Seminar of 2011, March 31st, 12-1:30 PM at the Outback Steakhouse Hawaii Kai. Members and non-members were invited to enjoy lunch, networking with over 45 community and business members and presentations from the Hawaii Association of Realtors® and SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Businesses.”

Stephanie Doughty, President-Elect for the Hawaii Association of Realtors® and 2008 Hawaii Realtor® of the year, discussed the possible increase of the General Excise Tax and what it means to community members and businesses.

SCORE Hawaii counselors Dennis Bunda and Cliff Silverstein covered topics ranging from business efficiency, organizational change and business changes during a slow economy to what they have been experiencing working with for-profit and non-profit companies. Both have over 20 years of Hawaii and international experience and opened the floor to a question and answer session following their presentation.

Mahalo to our Sponsors for this event: Outback Steakhouse Hawaii Kai and Pacific Digital Signs!
