The East Oahu Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization, managed by an elected board of directors, consisting of businesses and professionals who have joined together to work towards solutions to the mutual concerns of its businesses and the community. The Mission of the Chamber of Commerce, is to support, perpetuate, and make prosperous the business and civic interests of Hawaii Kai. These efforts are made by the way of fundraising for various causes, awareness of legislative issues facing small business, and encouragement of sponsorship opportunities at various networking events. What makes the East Oahu Chamber stand out, is our positive energy and our Motto, "Together we achieve so much more". We act on our cohesive marketing approach by canvassing the businesses and initiating conversation about getting involved in the differences they would like to see. We are also willing to partner with other organizations who maybe working toward a similar goal, to truly make a difference in our community.

I am excited to announce an important change at the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce. As of February 16th, 2017, we changed our name to new official identity:
"The East Oahu Chamber of Commerce".
The name change is a result of an extensive rebranding effort designed to better mirror our demographics and represent our bylaws.
"The East Oahu Chamber of Commerce" conveys our true demographics and the membership representation we have historically comprised. Over the past few years member and Board Directors have indicated that our name is not seen as inclusive and does not accurately represent our Chamber, and they have advocated for a more inclusive name. Our new name presents conceptual imagery consistent with our membership and purview. Changing our name to The East Oahu Chamber of Commerce also brings forth an expanded commitment to all our members and to our community to bridge gaps and serve both our business and our community.As we grow further and implement this exciting phase, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank our loyal members. Without your ongoing support our Chamber would not be possible, and I look forward to working together towards a mutually positive and productive future.
